Vegan French Toast
- 1 1/2-2 cups nondairy milk (I used soy)
- 4 to 5 tablespoons flour
- 3 teaspoons vegan sugar
- dash cinnamon
- 4 bread slices (I used Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Grain Bread)
- nonstick spray
- powdered sugar or cinnamon, to taste
Method:
1. In a bowl, mix together nondairy milk, flour, sugar, and cinnamon to form a batter.
2. Dip bread, let it soak in batter, and fry in lightly greased pan until golden brown. While one piece cooks have another soaking in the batter and ready.
3. Serve sprinkled with vegan powdered sugar or cinnamon, vegan butter (I used Earth Balance), and organic raw agave nectar on top.
